Check Up and Clean
We all know that prevention is better than cure and the best way to prevent gum and tooth problems and diagnose early disease is by attending for regular check ups and cleans.
Given that dental problems mostly only become more significant and expensive to fix, not only will this save you money in the long run and avoid pain, but the chances are that you won’t be caught with a painful problem on a week end!
A crown is a custom made cap which strengthens and improves the appearance of a tooth. Crowns are suited for heavily filled teeth, broken or cracked teeth and to improve the integrity of a tooth following root canal treatment.Traditionally crowns have been made out of gold or porcelain fused to metal. Both materials are satisfactory, however current state-of-the-art Zirconia (Ceramic Steel) porcelains allow metal-free crowns to be placed in situations where strength is required without compromising the restoration’s aesthetics.
A dental bridge is a way of replacing a single missing tooth or a number of teeth. This is achieved by attaching a false tooth to the adjacent tooth or teeth and this can be done by a variety of ways depending on the individual circumstances. The false tooth may be constructed out of porcelain or composite resin and the aesthetic outcomes can be quite amazing. Speak to the dentist to see if this may be the best alternative to having a missing tooth for you.
dental veneer is a thin layer of porcelain or composite resin made to fit over the front of a tooth to improve its appearance. Veneers are used to mask strong discolourations, reshape teeth, close gaps, repair fractured and worn teeth, or simply to instantly `straighten' a rotated or crowded tooth. Dental veneers offer an excellent alternative to orthodontic treatment in this regard. Veneers can be placed directly in a single visit, or for superior aesthetics may be fabricated via a two-stage process, in porcelain. Ask one of our dentists which option would be best for you.
Our prevention and maintenance program with our dedicated hygienist will ensure the health of your gums and teeth are proactively monitored and kept at optimal levels. Advice on diet, oral hygiene and periodontal health as well as a range of other topics are readily accessed through our friendly hygienist. For periodontal patients our experienced hygienists are very capable of maintaining your gum health status and can confidently refer back to the dentist when disease progression is diagnosed.
Invisalign is the virtually invisible alternative to braces that lets you keep smiling during your treatment. Invisalign uses a series of custom-made, clear, removable aligners that gradually move teeth toward the smile you’ve always wanted. Invisalign is so discreet; most people won’t even notice you’re wearing them.
